We’re looking for Sociology graduates to work as Behaviour Mentors in secondary schools across Newcastle, supporting students who sometimes find school life challenging. You’ll help them manage emotions, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
The ideal person for this role is patient, understanding, and confident working with young people who may be struggling socially or emotionally. You’ll bring an open mind, a sense of humour, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Every day will be different — some challenging, many rewarding — and you’ll end each week knowing you’ve genuinely helped.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
