Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Support the Assistant Headteacher for Sixth Form in efficiently managing and organizing the Sixth Form base, overseeing administration, including the bursary, and serving as the primary contact for calls, student inquiries, and visitors.
  • Handle visitor queries, provide information or direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Supervise the sixth form study and common room to maintain discipline and a conducive work environment.
  • Manage incoming calls and messages, either addressing them directly or forwarding to the relevant person.
  • Word process letters, standard forms, and other documents as directed by the Assistant Headteacher.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, exam administration, online platform use, and general clerical duties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
