This role is dedicated to those who want to inspire a young person's life for the better. 


We are looking for people who have had or have relevant experience involving; Youth work, gang violence, social, emotional and mental health, challenging behaviour and/or sexual exploitation. The right candidate will need to make a strong approach in handling vulnerable students with varying social, emotional, and mental health needs, and be dedicated to making a difference. 

The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for working with youths, know how to handle tough situations, know how to resolve or deescalate situation in the correct and efficient manner. Someone who is resilient and with a strong work ethic towards their work. 

The school that we look after cater for children between 5- 14, with social emotional and mental health difficulties, and have had traumatic experiences of some kind. A child is referred via their local education authority as a matter of urgency so that they may receive a detailed and individualised curriculum.

The school is expanding in September, so they are looking to increase their staff count.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
