Job Description: Creative Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Creative Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, contributing to a positive and empowering learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to small groups of students with SEND or SEMH requirements.
  • Offer personalised support to individuals who require tailored learning approaches.
  • Collaborate with students, staff, and parents to create an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.

Location:

Gateshead, UK

Full-Time Position:

This is a full-time position with regular working hours.

Requirements:

  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Current or willingness to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • A positive role model with a friendly, approachable, and patient demeanour.
  • Resilience and adaptability to changing situations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Prior teaching experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • A passion for working with young individuals with special needs and a commitment to their growth and development.
