In this rewarding role, you’ll work side-by-side with teachers to deliver personalised learning support — whether that’s one-to-one, in small groups, or by adapting resources to suit individual needs. You’ll be instrumental in helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering tailored support to help children with SEND access the curriculum and reach their full potential

Collaborating with teachers to adapt lesson plans that meet a range of learning needs

Promoting inclusion and ensuring every child feels valued and supported in the classroom

Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing among students

Supporting positive behaviour and helping children stay engaged in their learning journey
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly those with social, emotional, or learning needs

A calm, confident approach to managing behaviour and using supportive strategies
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

A genuine passion for creating inclusive, nurturing environments where every child can thrive
Desirable:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or similar additional needs
