Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with proven experience supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD and ADHD? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Uxbridge is looking for a confident, capable TA who can step in and make an immediate impact.
This is a hands-on role working with pupils who require structure, emotional regulation support and consistent boundaries. Previous experience working with children in a school or specialist setting is absolutely essential for this role.
The Role
You will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them access learning, manage behaviour, regulate emotions and build independence. This is a fast-paced but hugely rewarding role for someone who genuinely understands complex SEND and thrives in a structured environment.
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience working with children in a school or specialist setting – essential
• Proven experience supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD and ADHD
• Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and positive way
• Patient, nurturing and emotionally resilient approach
• Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team
• Strong communication skills with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
