Are you someone who brings calm, confidence and kindness into every classroom? We’re looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who can offer steady, meaningful support to pupils who need a little extra help to feel settled, understood and ready to learn.

What you'll be doing as a SEND Teaching Assistant

  • Supporting pupils with SEND in class, small groups or 1:1
  • Helping them access learning through tailored strategies and guidance
  • Using calm communication and clear routines to build confidence
  • Working closely with the SENCO, teachers and pastoral staff
  • Creating a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
  • Encouraging independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour

What we’re looking for

  • Experience supporting children, young people or adults with SEND
  • A nurturing, patient and consistent approac
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence adapting support to meet individual needs
  • Someone who genuinely loves helping pupils thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
