SEND Teaching Assistant – Sunderland

We’re looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the Sunderland area that supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs. The school offers a calm, nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to communicate, grow and succeed in their own way.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with autism and associated learning needs across the classroom and during individual sessions

Encouraging communication, independence and emotional regulation

Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans

Creating a safe, consistent and positive learning space where pupils can thrive
