SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary Schools, Newcastle
Contract: Supply / Immediate Start | Pay: £90–£115 per day

Protocol Education Newcastle is seeking caring and reliable SEND Teaching Assistants for placements in secondary schools across Newcastle. Immediate start available.

About the Role:

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom.

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities tailored to individual pupil needs.

  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEND (preferred, but training can be provided).

  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to different classroom needs.
