Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a meaningful, rewarding role within a dedicated SEND Unit? One of my fantastic Ruislip primary schools is searching for someone confident supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, non-verbal communication and sensory processing differences.

The Role
• Supporting pupils within the school’s on-site SEND Unit
• Providing high-quality 1:1 and small-group support
• Working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLCN and non-verbal needs
• Implementing sensory strategies, visual timetables and communication tools
• Helping pupils regulate, engage and access learning throughout the day
• Closely supporting the Unit Lead, SENCO and teaching team

What I’m Looking For
• Previous school-based SEND experience — essential
• Experience supporting non-verbal pupils
• Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD and sensory needs
• Ability to remain calm, consistent and emotionally intelligent
• Someone proactive who can adapt and think on their feet
• A genuine commitment to inclusion and pupil progress
