SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Ruislip

£95–£110 per day | Full Time | Immediate Start

I’m looking for an experienced and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Ruislip. This long-term role is within a school that has a strong inclusion team and pupils who need structure, patience and someone who genuinely understands SEND.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, social-communication needs or SEMH

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups

  • Using visuals, routine and simple strategies to build engagement

  • Helping pupils regulate, focus and access learning

  • Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher

What You Need

  • Experience working with children – essential

  • Experience supporting SEND pupils (school, SEN setting or specialist provision)

  • Calm, patient and able to build trust with pupils

  • Confident supporting pupils who may be non-verbal or find engagement difficult

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
