They’re looking for a calm, compassionate teacher who understands that progress doesn’t always look like neat exercise books, and that the smallest wins can mean everything.

What your days will look like:

Teaching small classes of secondary-aged pupils with complex needs

Adapting learning to suit individual communication styles and sensory profiles

Working closely with TAs, therapists, and a supportive leadership team

Creating a safe, structured space where pupils feel understood and valued

Celebrating progress that others might miss, but you never do

Have QTS, or relevant teaching experience in a SEND or specialist setting

Are confident supporting pupils with autism and PMLD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
