Are you a Drama Graduate who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Protocol Education is seeking caring, supportive and dedicated LSA’s who have experience working with pupils in small groups or on a one to one basis, for a school in Richmond.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of EHCP's.
  • Provide support and assistance to students with SEND specifically Social, Emotional and Mental health needs and associated difficulties. 
  • Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students' academic and personal development.
  • Provide a safe nurturing and engaging environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with ADHD, SEMH, and associated difficulties is desirable.
  • Delivering engaging activities to pupils in small groups.
  • A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Available to work at least 3 days per week (8:30-15:30) term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
