SEND Teaching Assistant (Part-Time, 2 Days per Week)

Salary: £89–£108 per day
Are you looking for a rewarding, part-time role supporting young people with special educational needs? This welcoming secondary provision is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work across their sixth form site in the mornings and their main school site in the afternoons. Please note this role is 2 days a week but could be slightly more, depending on the needs of the school.
The role

Work Tuesdays and Thursdays each week

Support students in sixth form during the morning sessions

Travel just over 5 minutes to the main school site for afternoon support (must drive)

Provide classroom and small-group support, helping students to access learning and build confidence

Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met
What we’re looking for

A current child and adult DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

A driver with access to a car, as travel between sites is required

Experience supporting young people with SEND is desirable

A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with pupils
