SEND Teaching Assistant (Part-Time, 2 Days per Week)

Salary: £89–£108 per day

Are you looking for a rewarding, part-time role supporting young people with special educational needs? This welcoming secondary provision is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work across their sixth form site in the mornings and their main school site in the afternoons. Please note this role is 2 days a week but could be slightly more, depending on the needs of the school. 

The role

• Work Tuesdays and Thursdays each week

• Support students in sixth form during the morning sessions

• Travel just over 5 minutes to the main school site for afternoon support (must drive)

• Provide classroom and small-group support, helping students to access learning and build confidence

• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met

What we’re looking for

• A current child and adult DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• A driver with access to a car, as travel between sites is required

• Experience supporting young people with SEND is desirable

• A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with pupils
