We’re looking for a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school that needs someone who can start straight away. You’ll be helping children with additional needs feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
What the role looks like

Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, and social and emotional needs

Working 1:1 or in small groups depending on the day

Helping pupils regulate, engage, and access learning in ways that work for them

Building strong relationships with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team

Keeping routines predictable and creating a calm, encouraging environment
You’ll be great for this role if you

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
-
Are patient, consistent, and genuinely nurturing
-
Can adapt to different needs and use a range of supportive strategies

Communicate clearly and work well with others

Have Thrive or trauma-informed training, or would like to access our free training offer

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
