We’re supporting a fantastic school that’s looking for a caring, steady SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. You’ll be working closely with pupils who need a little extra support, helping them feel confident, calm, and ready to learn.

This role suits someone who naturally brings patience and warmth to the day. Experience is not required, but it’s definitely a bonus. If you’ve worked in care, youth work, support roles, or simply have strong people skills, the school will want to meet you.

What you’ll be doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis

  • Helping children with SEND access learning in a way that works for them

  • Creating a calm, structured environment where pupils feel safe

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff

  • Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, big or small

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
