We’re supporting a fantastic specialist school in Gateshead that is looking for a compassionate and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible. What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication needs, and sensory needs

Working closely with teachers and therapists to create a calm, structured learning environment

Helping pupils navigate their day with confidence, whether that’s in the classroom, during movement breaks, or through 1:1 support

Bringing patience, humour, and emotional warmth to every interaction

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
