Protocol Education is seeking caring, reliable, and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to support a secondary special school in Brent on a day-to-day supply basis.

Whether you have experience supporting young people with additional needs or simply bring a calm, patient nature and a genuine desire to help, this role offers the chance to make a real difference — one day at a time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils aged 11–16 with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD

  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom routines, and behaviour support

  • Providing one-to-one or small-group interventions

  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive learning habits

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with children or young people (schools, youth work, and care settings all welcome)

  • A calm, flexible approach and strong communication skills

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
