SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Newcastle)

Pay: £89.38–£105 per day (PAYE)

A welcoming SEND provision is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism in small groups and 1:1.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with communication and engagement

  • Maintaining routines and positive behaviour strategies

  • Working alongside teachers and SEN staff

  • Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in SEND, autism or care settings

  • A calm, patient and consistent approach

  • Confidence building relationships with pupils

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
