We’re working with a welcoming school in Epsom looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, Autism and SEMH needs. This is a full-time role where you’ll really get to know the children you support and make a difference every single day.

This role would suit you if you:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD or SEMH

  • Or you’re a graduate in English, Maths or Science with a genuine interest in SEND and education

  • Are patient, consistent, and confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Can work closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups

  • Helping children stay engaged, regulated and ready to learn

  • Supporting social skills, routines and emotional wellbeing

  • Being a steady, reassuring presence in the classroom

What you’ll need:

  • A DBS on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one

  • A positive attitude and a real passion for supporting young people

  • Reliability, patience, and a good sense of humour always helps

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
