We’re working with a welcoming school in Sheffield who are looking for a brilliant Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the classroom and help learning days run smoothly. It’s a friendly setting with supportive staff, well-structured routines, and children who’ll keep you on your toes in the best way.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils in class, either 1:1 or in small groups

Helping children stay engaged, confident, and happy in their learning

Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team

Being that calm, steady presence when the day gets a bit busy
What we’re looking for

Experience working with children or young people (school-based is great, but not essential)

A positive, patient, can-do attitude

Confidence supporting learning and behaviour
-
SEND experience is a bonus, but not a must

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
