About The Role

Protocol Education is currently looking for an engaging and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant for temporary work, with the possibility of becoming permanent, in a Rotherham area school. Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant you will be a helping students thrive in lessons as well as outside of the classroom and ensuring they have equal opportunities to grow and learn. Initially, it is a temporary position to start ASAP with future opportunity of becoming permanent should they require.

Based in Rotherham, this Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school specializes in providing education for children with special educational needs, including communication and interaction difficulties aged 11 – 19. This school provides a high – quality education as well as a nurturing environment enabling the children to feel safe and supported whilst receiving their education.

What we need from you

Whether you have previous experience as working as a Teaching Assistant or have an enthusiasm for caring and making a difference in peoples lives, this could be the role for you. In yourself you should be enthusiastic and have a positive outlook on all things as well as being available to be a help in hand or a supportive ear for your students. It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have extra qualifications such as Moving and Handling or Team Teach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
