Protocol Education are recruiting Teaching Assistant's for SEND schools in Retford. Whether you have previous experience as a TA, have a background in care and are looking for your next challenge or have recently graduated and looking to broaden your experiences, Protocol has full time and part time roles available to work with children with special needs and improve their outcomes.

The Role: Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a range of SEND schools providing support for students with additional needs in order to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom. Initially you will work on a day-to-day basis, however there could be the option for a school to offer you a long-term position should they require.

The schools: Like previously mentioned, you will work with multiple SEND schools across Retford with a range of different needs (ASC, PMLD, SEMH, SLD to mention a few) while following the main aims and ethos’ of the schools. No matter which school you attend, you will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.

The Successful Candidate: As an individual you will be outgoing and confident in your abilities to provide the best outcomes for your students.

You must be adaptable, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.

Although not essential, extra qualifications in training in Moving and Handling and/or Team Teach are highly desired.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
