Currently we are looking for entry level teaching assistants, learning mentors and general classroom support staff to help support students within a Further Education College based in Cambridge.  This role would involve supporting SEND students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The College in Cambridge are looking for people who are ambitious and passionate about working with children and want to make a difference. They also need the person to be willing to commit to a long term role and someone who is reliable with attendance and punctuality.

Candidates need to have some experience of working with young people although this does not need to have been within a formal education setting.  Candidates who have a background as a graduate, nanny, care worker, youth worker, sports coach or similar are encouraged to apply. Experience within an SEND background would also be an advantage but is not essential.

Training and additional qualifications will be available and also the opportunity for progression within the College.  Please note the hours of work for this role are 8.30-4.30 per day

Immediate starts are available pending references being received.  Full and part time roles available

Candidates must be based in the UK and able to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
