We’re recruiting a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant for a supportive school in Sunderland. This role focuses on providing consistent, tailored support to pupils who need structure, patience, and encouragement to thrive.
You’ll be a steady presence in the classroom, helping pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing 1:1 or small group SEND support
Supporting pupils with additional learning or emotional needs
Working alongside teachers and SEN staff
Helping pupils manage routines and transitions
Promoting confidence and independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
