Do you love helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn? We’re looking for a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in Walsall.

This is a role where the little moments matter. The calm reassurance, the quiet wins, the progress that doesn’t always show up on paper but means everything to a child.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, both in and out of the classroom

  • Helping children access learning in a way that works for them

  • Working closely with teachers and specialists to keep support consistent

  • Creating a positive, inclusive space where every child feels valued

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with children, especially within SEND settings

  • A patient, kind approach and the ability to build trust

  • Strong communication skills and a real team mindset

  • Relevant qualifications are great, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
