Job Description:

This role is a 1:1 role to support a KS3 child with specific needs. If you are highly expereince in SEND this could be the ideal position for you.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, your primary role will be to support the classroom teacher and provide assistance to students in a secondary school setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need extra help.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom management and discipline as needed.
  • Participating in team meetings and sharing ideas for enhancing the learning experience.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to the safety and well-being of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
