SEND Teaching Assistant - Reception

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a thriving Primary School in BS11, who are looking for an educator support a reception child with additional needs. The role will start in September and will be on a full time basis: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm.

The school are interested to hear from candidates with a range of experiences and backgrounds and you will be supported to use a holistic approach to learning where the key focus is to create a structured daily timetable which combines an individualised/adapted curriculum and creates a safe, calm and purposeful environment for the child. 

You will be working 1:1 with pupils as well as supporting within the classroom where there will be a range of needs. This means being adaptable, proactive and positive. You will need to be able to work collabopratively with the class teacher and other staff members to engage, promote confidence and independence and positively influence meaningful and fun learning and progress.
