Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a SEND teacher with QTS to join a specialist school from September, in Loughton.

Are you a passionate and committed advocate for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?  

 

You will be responsible for the education and welfare of a designated class of pupils with significant and complex needs. This school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and aspirational environment for children and young people aged 3-19 with severe learning needs. Experience is preferred but not essential, they are committed to providing the support and resources necessary to help you thrive in your role.

The role:

  • Support children with SLD and complex needs, providing individualised attention and care
  • Deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to the specific needs of our students through our Learning Pathway approach
  •  Collaborate with a team of skilled teaching assistants, to ensure each child receives the support they require. 
  • Assist students with personal care needs, showing a willingness to provide necessary support
  •  Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging the social and emotional development of each child. You would be joining a team of creative, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and support staff who make each day as fun as possible for our pupils to support engagement

Visits to the school are positively encouraged.

 

Pay: MPS + SEN1 Allowance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
