We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive school setting for after half term. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN specialist or a passionate teacher with a strong interest in inclusive education to make a meaningful impact on pupils with additional needs.

The Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals, you will support pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development in a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to pupils with SEN

  • Adapt the curriculum to support a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Create a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews

  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN (school or specialist setting)

  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

  • Ability to start immediately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
