About Me
Hi, I’m an experienced SEND Teacher with over eight years working across specialist and mainstream settings. I’ve taught pupils with autism, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My teaching is calm, structured, and rooted in positive relationships. I believe progress comes from trust, not pressure, and I love finding creative ways to help each pupil communicate, connect, and grow.

Teaching Experience & Approach

  • Experienced in KS3–KS5 with a focus on autism and social communication needs

  • Skilled in PECS, Makaton, and sensory curriculum planning

  • Known for creating safe, predictable classroom environments where pupils thrive

  • Collaborates closely with therapists and LSAs to tailor every learning journey

Specialist Skills

  • Extensive experience supporting pupils with ASC, ADHD, and global developmental delay

  • Strong behaviour de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies

  • Passionate about inclusion and lifelong learning

Outside the Classroom
I’m always on the lookout for new sensory activities and wellbeing resources for my classes. I also love photography and often use visuals to help pupils express themselves.
