SEND Teacher – Complex Needs (Flexible Across Classes)

Pay: MPS/UPS (PAYE) (pay according to scale)

This specialist provision supports pupils with autism, sensory needs and complex learning profiles, and they’re searching for a compassionate SEND Teacher who can adapt to different groups when needed.

Your role will include:

• Leading small classes with varied needs and communication styles

• Adapting lessons to meet sensory, emotional and developmental needs

• Working closely with therapists, support staff and the senior SEND team

• Using visuals, structured routines and multisensory approaches

• Supporting pupils through emotional or sensory regulation moments

Flexibility is desired:
The school may move you between classes as needs change, supporting you every step of the way.

• You have QTS and experience with SEND, PMLD, ASD or SEMH

• You’re confident and calm in unpredictable situations

• You’re creative and enjoy finding new ways to make learning accessible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
