SEND Teacher – Autism Provision (Newcastle)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time
Start: Immediate or September
Pay: MPS / UPS + SEN allowance
A specialist SEND setting is looking for a SEND Teacher to support pupils with autism across primary, secondary and post-16 pathways.
What you’ll be doing:

Delivering personalised learning tailored to individual needs

Creating structured, calm classroom environments

Supporting communication, independence and life skills

Working closely with support staff, therapists and families
What we’re looking for:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Experience in SEND or autism-focused settings
-
A flexible, child-centred teaching approach
-
Confidence adapting curriculum and routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
