We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND TA (PMLD, SLD & Medical) to join our outstanding specialist school in Barnsley. Our school caters to children with PMLD, ASC, and various other types of SEN. With easy access from Rotherham , Doncaster and all over Barnsley our school is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support students with PMLD, SLD, and medical needs in their learning and daily activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide personal care and support, ensuring the well-being and safety of students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience working with children with PMLD, SLD, and medical needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
