SEND TA Needed Urgently - Ruislip

Location: Ruislip
Job Type: Supply Teaching
Industry: Primary SEN Support
Reference: 311021038
Salary: £90 - 105 per day + CPD
Job Published: about 3 hours ago

A fantastic primary school in Ruislip is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs, including ASD and ADHD. This is a role for someone who genuinely understands how to support children who need structure, consistency and emotional regulation throughout their day.

You must already have hands-on experience working with children in a school or specialist setting. This is not a trainee role — confidence, resilience and real classroom experience are essential.

Your Day-to-Day
You’ll be supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them stay regulated, engaged and able to access learning. Some pupils present with challenging behaviour, so a calm, confident and emotionally intelligent approach is key. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to maintain routines, boundaries and progress.

Who This Role Suits
• Experienced SEND TA or support worker with school-based experience
• Strong knowledge of ASD, ADHD and complex learning needs
• Confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation
• Patient, consistent and reliable
• Proactive team player who communicates well with staff

What’s On Offer
• £90–£105 per day depending on experience
• Ongoing work with potential for long-term placement
• Free access to SEND and behaviour training
• Dedicated consultant support

If you’re passionate about supporting pupils who need the right person around them every day — and you’ve already worked in a school environment — I’d love to speak with you.
