Protocol Education is currently working closely with schools in the Hounslow/Feltham area who are seeking qualified and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to work with them on long term basis.

We are looking for a TA to work with children with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate existing effective practice for children with SEMH.
The successful TA will be experienced in working with children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families. They will be confident in working with professionals from other agencies. They will have outstanding practice in their current position, and demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Many of our TAs go on to teacher training positions and are also good experience for those with an interest in child psychology.
We would be particularly interested in someone who has experience of working with children with complex SEND in a mainstream School.
This amazing TA needs to:

• Be committed to providing a wide range of experiences that will inspire and embed learning for children with SEND
• Demonstrate a passion for learning and inclusion
• Be able to work creatively to engage the wider family and community in children’s learning in order to best meet their needs
• Be committed to our nurturing ethos in order to grow confident and happy learners
• Be patient and solution focussed in order to secure the best outcomes for each individual
• Enjoy being an active part of a dynamic, focussed team
