Love supporting young people and making a genuine difference? We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Newcastle looking for a SEND Support Worker to support pupils with additional learning needs, including autism and communication difficulties.

You’ll be part of a caring team who focus on progress, confidence and consistency. Your calm, patient approach will help pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with ASC and SEND needs

  • Encouraging engagement and positive routines

  • Providing reassurance and emotional support

  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with SEND (school, care or personal experience welcome)

  • A calm, empathetic approach

  • Reliability and a genuine passion for helping others
