We’re looking for a patient, proactive and empathetic Support Worker to join a specialist all-through school that supports children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a range of additional needs—including autism, speech and communication challenges, and social-emotional needs.
This role is all about building trust, creating routine, and helping pupils thrive in a setting designed around care, communication and consistency. If you love variety, teamwork and seeing real progress up close, this could be your perfect next step.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing consistent, calm support for pupils with EHCPs

Working 1:1 or in small groups to encourage communication and learning

Using tools such as Makaton, visuals or sensory supports

Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies

Helping create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
