Protocol Education are seeking Support Assistants to work with children with SEND in our mainstream schools.
The role would involve working under the guidance of the class teacher, reporting back to the teacher and also the SENCO and other management staff.
You may be required to speak with parents to share any concerns and celebrate successes and you could be supporting the child in class, outdoors, in assemblies and on school visits.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, for example in a care capacity, youth group, brownies etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An excellent team worker.
- A warm and compassionate person, with a calm demeanour.
- A proven right to work in the UK.
- A DBS certificate or be willing to apply.
- Enthusiasm, ideas and energy!
