SEND Teaching Assistants EYFS-YR6

Right now, we want aspiring, passionate, and/or experienced 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to come and potentially work within Slough. Wherever you are, we can help to support you to get into settings all the way from Nurseries up to Year 6. We have many contacts and can't wait to speak with you to discuss your experience, qualities and skills. Getting to know you is important to us as we want you to do well! As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Protocol Education you will be expected to:


•Support children in their learning and behaviour from EYFS up to KS2 in different classes.
•Safeguard children and report anything small or big to the Safeguarding officer within the setting.
•Carry out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures.
•Support pupils inside and outside the classroom and maintain high expectations.
•Accompany and support students with their academic and personal development.
•Be proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual needs and learning styles.
•Follow a SEN learning plan and cater to their individual needs.


If you are interested in this post, you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria and be available to work between 8.30-3.30 Monday-Friday.

•Experience teaching or support children with SEND needs.
•Experience of working with SEND in another setting or volunteer experience
•Graduate looking to become a Primary Teacher in future open to working with children with SEND

To sign up with Protocol Education you must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. If you do not have this, you can apply for one through us for £40 and to put it onto the update service it is an additional £13 a year - This will keep it up to date.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
