A welcoming primary school in Ruislip is looking for a compassionate and skilled SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language delays, or SEMH needs. You’ll help pupils build confidence, develop communication skills, and engage positively with learning.

The role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs

  • Implement tailored strategies to aid engagement, focus, and progress

  • Use visual cues, structured routines, and sensory tools to support learning

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistency

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEND (essential)

  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication and behaviour-support skills

  • Commitment to inclusion and pupil development
