A warm and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team immediately.
This role is perfect for someone who has hands-on experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
The role:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND

Assist with implementing individual learning plans and behaviour strategies

Use visual aids, sensory tools and structured routines to aid engagement
-
Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistent progress

Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and positive learning behaviours
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (essential)

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Confidence using visual schedules, Now and Next boards, and positive reinforcement strategies

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
