We’re working with a specialist SEND school in Telford that supports children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SEMH. They’re searching for a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their warm, experienced team.

What You’ll Do

Support pupils with additional needs in small groups or 1:1

Use creative strategies to help children communicate and engage in lessons

Build trusted relationships that make every pupil feel safe, valued, and heard

Work closely with teachers, and other professionals to deliver personalised support

Help make the classroom a space where progress, however small, is celebrated
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (formal or informal)
-
A calm, caring approach and strong communication skills
-
A desire to make a difference and grow within SEND education
Graduates in Psychology, Education, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
