SEN TRAINEE TEACHING ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Sutton

Protocol Education is recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants based in Sutton  at a highly regarded and supportive school that focuses on different SEND including ASD, SEMH, PMLD and additional learning. The school is looking for a caring and compassionate trainee with a positive attitude and a mindset that is ready for a challenge!

The ideal candidate:

-          Have some transferable experience/skills that can be transferable to the role

-          Adaptable to situations and to meet the needs of different individuals

-          Willing to further learn about SEND through training

-          Ensure the wellbeing and strong development of the student

The role:

-          Ensure 1:1 support to pupils

-          Be able to foster a nurturing environment to ensure effective social, emotional and educational development

-          Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO’s to be able to devise and deliver person centred learning and care

-          Monitor and record progress of child to report to the school’s SEN team and to meet targets

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
