About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wandsworth. You will be working closely with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and SEMH needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Assist with classroom management and differentiated learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential.

  • Strong communication, empathy, and patience.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
