About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools across Wandsworth. This role provides the opportunity to support children with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and contribute to their academic, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt learning resources and activities for accessibility.

  • Support positive behaviour and promote inclusion in the classroom.

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement among pupils.

  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in schools or similar settings).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
