Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN) such as autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans.

Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.

Support pupils with personal care or mobility needs when required.

Foster an inclusive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.

A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
