We're looking for an enthusiastic ADHD Support Teaching Assistant to join our team on a supply basis, helping various primary schools in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Individual Students: Provide one-on-one assistance to students with ADHD, helping them stay focused and engaged.
  • Adapt Lessons: Work with teachers to modify and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of ADHD students.
  • Behavior Management: Implement strategies to manage and improve classroom behavior.
  • Create a Positive Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for Education: A genuine desire to help students with ADHD succeed.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with ADHD or similar needs.
  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
  • Training: Specific training in ADHD strategies and interventions.
  • Certifications: First Aid certification is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
