About the Role:

Protocol Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wandsworth. The role involves working closely with students who have special educational needs, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals in a safe and inclusive setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties).

  • Assist the class teacher with differentiated learning activities.

  • Promote positive learning behaviours and emotional wellbeing.

  • Support pupils’ social and academic development.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.


Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Patient, adaptable, and caring attitude.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
