About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary and secondary settings in Merton. The role involves working closely with teachers to provide tailored support, encouraging pupil engagement, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in class and small group interventions

  • Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation

  • Supporting children with additional needs (SEN) where required

  • Encouraging progress and helping to create an inclusive environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting (desirable)

  • A passion for supporting young people in education

  • Right to Work in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
